Jobs at Western Colorado Congress

Western Colorado Congress plans to hire two or three contract community organizers to work on the upcoming Uncompahgre Field Office draft Resource Management Plan. Organizers will be based in Telluride, Montrose or Paonia.

Contracts will last four months, with the start date depending on the date of the plan’s release, but probably sometime in December. We anticipate that the contractors will work about 100 hours per month. Pay will be $12-15 per hour, depending on location and experience. Applicants must have experience in on-the-ground organizing.
