Join the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition to hear the stories of Dreamers and help rally support for moving forward a clean Dream Act!

The Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (CIRC) is working with member organizations from across the great state of Colorado to travel to nine different towns in four days in order to host ten DREAMers who are speaking out about their one American Dream.

The US Congress has once again kicked the can down the road while the DACA deadline is fast approaching on March 5, 2018. Both of Colorado’s Senators — Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner — are in the “Gang of 6,” a bipartisan group of Senators who have been negotiating on the issue, but the group has so far failed to introduce a proposal that both parties can support.

Both parties are pointing fingers at each other, and President Trump continues to demand harsh and ever-escalating anti-immigrant policies in exchange for 800,000 American Dreamers who are literally being used as a political bargaining chip.

This event is hosted by CIRC, Hispanic Affairs Project, Black Lives Matter Grand Junction, Organizing for America Grand Junction, and First Congregational UCC.
