Finding Common Language and Interest in an Age of Division

Tired of conversations about our country and future that go nowhere? Feel helpless in getting through to folks on the other side of the aisle? Looking to build new consensus and common cause in your community?

Join Indivisible Roaring Fork and Western Colorado Congress for a training on the power of narrative to cut across divisions and find common interest with others in your community.

In this training, you’ll learn and apply tools to:

  • Understand the psychology and values that shape different worldviews
  • Discover common interest with radically different people
  • Tell stories that utilize concepts, symbols, and language that resonate with different audiences

The information covered and skills developed during this workshop will be useful in a diversity of contexts, from crossing divides with your family and neighbors to voter contact, coalition building, and organizing in your community.

Seating is limited. Sign up here.
