Electric Mountain Hike August 24

Western Colorado Congress and Western Slope Environmental Resource Council invite you to join Andrea Robinsong and Doug Gill on Sunday, August 24th for an ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN ROADLESS AREA HIKE.

We will meet at 9:00 am at the Paonia Visitors' Center at the intersection of Hwy 133 and Stevens Gulch Rd. where we will arrange carpooling as much as possible.
This is an easy to moderate climb for people of all ages. We'll eat our lunches in an open meadow where we will have a panoramic view of Roadless and Wilderness Areas. While enjoying the vista we'll talk about what we can do to protect this magnificent area.

Please email Andrea if you are interested in attending. Make sure you include your phone number so that you can be notified if the trip becomes canceled or postponed. Sending the email does not commit you to making the trip. It will just insure that you get informed of any change.

Bring: lunch, plenty of water, rain gear, sturdy hiking shoes, bug and sun stuff, hat and sunglasses. Optional: camera, walking stick, binoculars, etc.
