WCC's 28th Annual Meeting Featuring David Sirota and Gotta Be Girls! Montrose Pavilion David Sirota, a Denver-based political journalist and best-selling author, will be the keynote speaker at WCC's 28th Annual Meeting at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 4 at the Montrose Pavilion. Because of his understanding of candidates, issues and trends in populism, Sirota is a sought-after guest speaker and panelist, especially during the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver. Among his long list of credits, Sirota is a blogger for Credo Action and is touring with his new book, The Uprising. Sirota is also a senior fellow at the Campaign for America's Future and the founder of the Progressive States Network, which provides research and policy support to state legislators. In addition to Sirota, Gotta Be Girls of Montrose will be providing the music during our afternoon's reception at 4:30 pm.
